Promotional poster for the rockstar romance series "The Melody Universe," featuring illustrated characters representing different book titles: "A Dark Melody" on Amazon and KU, "A Broken Melody" 2026, and "A Tragic Melody" 2026, with a background of stage lights.

Veritas Records is the best label in the scene. Sourcing some of the biggest names in the music industry. And possibly the most damaged.

Every book in The Melody Universe follows a different member tied to the label. From musicians, producers, and corporate figureheads, there isn’t a soul untouched by heartache. The glamours of fame can only do so much to hide the pain, the cracks are always when the lights go out.

A Dark Melody- Abbey Dark is wasting away under the weight of fame. Losing herself in the pressure, until she meets Wesley Whitmore on tour. They encounter sparks a friendship, laces with a chemistry that’s bound to soar off the charts.

A Broken Melody- Ben Parker doesn’t plan on taking on anyone else’s trauma, he has enough of his own, but when he meets Prue Ward at a party all that changes. While Prue never wanted to be someone’s problem, she finds comfort in being the person Ben lets her be.

Neither story is alone in their drama. As there is plenty of problems, trauma and hurt to go around the label. Fame doesn’t spare you from lives’ cruelty, it just highlights the wounds. Glory on the charts doesn’t always lead to happiness, but maybe finding the right person can.

Intense. Messy. And deeply emotional.
The Melody Universe goes behind the curtains, under the stage lights and into the darkness backstage to showcase the place where ruined melodies get rewritten into something outstanding.

A Broken Melody

Wes is in love and I’m an asshole.

Ben Parker is an asshole, but at least he knows it. He insults a girl one night and his life is never the same. Will he ever make it right?

Prue Ward isn’t anything like Ben claimed the first night. She is just a girl trying to reinvent herself after her shitty boyfriend cheats on her and years spent trying to live up to her parents standards. She has no idea Ben calling her a bitch one night would change her whole life.
